Film Criticism offers a close study of a number of selected films, both mainstream and independent, from aesthetic, technical perspectives. Extensive creation of reviews, critiques aimed at film and media with a high level of writing proficiency expected. Students in Film Criticism will work closely with the Blackbird Film Festival to curate future film programming for the annual festival event
